Have Mercy, the Sikhs are Burnin and Lootin after the Murder of one of their Gurus.. No Suprise, because they have a very close community globally.
Guru wounded in Vienna; Sant Rama Gurudwara dies
this is a great tragedy and our hearts go out to those who lost loved ones and to the Dalit community at large.
It is always a tragedy when a man of great faith is killed in the performance of his duties. for those who don’t understand, let us put a lil twist on this for ya – this is a Racially Motivated Killing.
The Gurus’ who were killed were Dalits (Black); the Killers were Aryan, or lighter skinned indians. Get it now
Indian Color and Caste Politics has cost a life in Austria – so what will the Austrians do about this vicious crime ?
Our hope is that they will punish them to the highest penalty; because they premeditated and then planned the murder of a holy man while he was delivering his sermon to many many followers; in a Sikh Temple.
What we really hate is that the fighting has spilled over to communities in the Punjab; which is Indias’ Lil Africa. we rarely discuss that whole bowl of curry; because it always evokes such strong feelings from everyone. so we’ll let the news writers do the writing, and extend our condolences.
This is a Tragedy that should have never happened, ever – anywhere to any holy community.

Emergency workers gathered outside the temple
Police in Austria say one of the two Sikh gurus who was shot in a violent dispute between rival Sikh groups at a temple in Austria has died.
The guru, Sant Rama Anand, was attacked during a religious ceremony by six men armed with knives and a pistol.
The other preacher Sant Nirajnan Das, who was among 15 other people injured in the clash, was said to be stable.
Following the incident, rival Sikh groups clashed in the Indian state of Punjab.
Indian police said protesters in the city of Jalandhar set fire to vehicles and put up roadblocks.

Witnesses said the protests appeared to be a reaction to the fight at a temple in Vienna, which reportedly began when fundamentalist Sikhs from a higher caste attacked the preachers, who, they believed, were disrespectful of the Sikh holy book.
The fight involved five men armed with knives and another with a pistol, the BBC’s Bethany Bell reports.
Sant Rama Anand died of his wounds in hospital early Monday, a police spokesman said.
“The surgeon said at first he was satisfied with his patient’s condition after an emergency operation,” news agency APA quoted the spokesman as saying.
“But the patient lost consciousness and died shortly after midnight (2200 GMT),” he added.
The condition of the second preacher is reported to be stable, he said.
Police spokesman Michael Takacs said the scene was “like a battlefield”. Six people have been detained, and more arrests were possible.
Everybody was praying and then it started with knives and a pistol,” said eyewitness Nermal Singh.

Several hundred worshippers were at the temple at the time of the attack.
The temple is situated in Vienna-Rudolfsheim, in the 15th district of the capital.
It is estimated that fewer than 3,000 Sikhs live in Austria.
The Rudolfsheim temple is run by devotees of Shri Guru Ravidas, who founded a Sikh sect called Dera Sach Khand.
Indian unrest
Meanwhile, Sikh groups clashed violently in the city of Jalandhar in the Indian state of Punjab.
People have poured out into the streets by the thousands and have been protesting since Sunday evening here, says the BBC’s Asit Jolly in Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab.
The protesters set fire to vehicles and damaged government buildings.
“The whole thing has spread out of Jalandhar now, it’s in all the nearby towns and a curfew has been imposed across Jalandhar city, and the latest I’m being told is that the government of Punjab has requisitioned the army to be on standby,” our correspondent adds.

Fresh violence in Punjab after sect leader dies in Vienna
JALANDHAR/VIENNA – Train bogies were torched at the Jalandhar Cantt station, a key highway blocked and vehicles and shops set afire as large parts of Punjab came to a standstill Monday after news that a top leader of the Dera Sachh Khand sect had died of his injuries following a clash in a Vienna gurdwara.
Armed with sticks, swords, bricks and stones, protestors of the sect, who are from the Dalit Sikh community and followers of Guru Ravidass, came out in large numbers in Punjab’s Doaba belt and tension spread in Jalandhar, Phagwara, Hoshiarpur and Nawanshahr towns.
Sect leader Sant Rama Nand, 57, the second-in-command, died in a hospital in the Austrian capital Vienna Monday following an armed attack involving rival Sikh groups at a gurdwara the previous day, which also left at least 16 people injured.
The condition of the sect head, who was the second guest guru speaking at the Vienna gurudwara, Sant Niranjan Dass, 68, was stable after undergoing emergency surgery, doctors in Vienna said.
The violence that had begun with news of the attack Sunday reignited with Sant Rama Anand’s death. The army and the Border Security Force (BSF) were out in Jalandhar district, about 150 km from the state capital Chandigarh, where curfew had been imposed late Sunday. But rampaging mobs defied curfew to take to the streets.

Many towns in Punjab remained tense Monday morning after a night of violence. Most areas in the state came to a standstill as shops and other commercial establishments did not open Monday morning fearing violence from the sect protestors.
Road and railway traffic was severely affected in Jalandhar district and adjoining areas. Protestors blocked National Highway (NH) No. 1 between Jalandhar and Phagwara at several places. Railway traffic on this busy route between Delhi and Jammu was also crippled.
Vehicles, shops and other property were damaged by the protestors by either setting them on fire or in stone-pelting. Burning tyres and roadblocks could be seen at several places.
Three bogies of a train and expensive railway equipment were set on fire by the protestors at the Jalandhar Cantt railway station. No police personnel was present on the spot when the protestors torched the railway property.
A Tata Sumo vehicle was set on fire by protestors outside the Maqsoodan police station here. There was tension in Rama Mandi and Buta Mandi localities of the city.
Protests and violence was reported from Patiala, Amritsar and Hoshiarpur with government and private property also being damaged in Ludhiana, Patiala and Bathinda.

The Dera Sachh Khand sect has considerable following among Dalit Sikhs across Punjab, especially in the Doaba belt (between rivers Sutlej and Beas).
1984 – the clash was bloody. Kashmir isn’t India’s only would-be breakaway state. In Punjab State Sikh militants fought for an Independent state of Khalistan.
The ruling Akali Dal in Punjab has called for a shutdown across the state to protest the Vienna incident.
