Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star, And one clear call for me!

And may there be no moaning of the bar,

When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,

Too full for sound and foam,

When that which drew from out the boundless deep

Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,

And after that the dark!

And may there be no sadness of farewell,

When I embark;

For through from out our bourne of Time and Place

The flood may bear me far,

I hope to see my Pilot face to face

When I have crossed the bar.

Today We Lost Aunt Juanita. at 5:45 am she went home to glory. she had told many that her sister was coming for her soon. today she came..

Thank You for Your Prayers, Thoughts and Support during her illness. she was a strong and resilient spirit until the very end. she was everything that a matriarch should be.

During this upcoming week, of planing and preparation this blog will be updated sporadically at best. we will return on Monday May 11, 2009.

Today we are asking you our friends and readers to lend a moment and join us in Prayer,

for Our Dear Aunt Juanita

Aunt Juanita is the eldest of My Auntie’s here in Detroit. She’s fallen ill and now is in hospital on a respirator. we are asking for you to join with us in asking the father to give her the strength to walk with us another day.

We Love Aunt Juanita because she’s always been the one constant in our married life. when we need her, she’s always there with a willing ear, a slice of cake and her great auntie love, hugs and advice.

You See My Aunt Juanita is Magical – by nature..  she dreams numbers, yes numbers

she can take a number out of any one’s dream and tell you exactly what it means. in the old days before the lottery was legalized, people used to use Dream Books to look up the numbers for their dreams – to play them in the illegal numbers racket.

Aunt Juanita was the one person everybody would call everyday to ask her what their dream meant. she knew everybody’s secrets, business and fears; as we know today that she needs our strength and devotion more than ever.

we don’t normally ask for support like this, but today is just one of those days; and we hope that today you’ll think of Aunt Juanita and How Much She Means To Us, and How Much She Needs Your Prayers.

if you should not see an update for a lil while, know it’s because we’re at the hospital engaged in the handholding and prayer business. we will return when we have good news, WE Promise.
