This very fine award came to us from our Friend Davida over at Glue 4 Families and the Movie Connoisseur. Davida is one of our most favorite bloggers.
being in the grandma stage has made us love family blogs more than ever. usually the way Davida writes her blogs makes you just want to stop for a moment and have a cool drink; like you’re in the kitchen with a few friends. you always know that the blog will have quality content and family friendly topics and comments. lots of comments. she is of course very popular, since she’s a great writer and Mom.
Thank YOU Davida, You are an inspiration to us, and we think that the younger bloggers like you, make us have to pull out our dusty dictionaries; and find new ways to say the same old thing. LOL sorry Davida you already know yo ole’ geetchie auntee ain’t gonna change

The Reason we’re proud of this award is because it represents one of the most important things we get from Entrecard – Friends. Yeah Friends. the one ec drops are of little consequence to us honestly, and we usually advertise most of our credits away as soon as we accumulate them. we’re not hoarders and we like to see our card on lots of widgets so we spread em around. Davida is an example of that spreading around.
we know that we have to share the award, and we plan to do that later this week. so be sure to come back and see if you are a recipient.
When the entrecard crisis effected the folks on Today.com – us included; we decided we had to do something to offer help to some of our most fav today blogs. we wrote them and engages them; we offered hosting space; even moving; rebuilding and syndication help. we never forget the people who set the first examples for us in sharing.
that would of course be Mom… so this is just our Mom Thing.

Can I suggest that the best thing to do about Entrecard at the moment is to stay in, but simply act as if paid ads didn't exist. Act like it's a usual, normal time but don't buy in to their new scheme.
I'm just carrying on as before but rejecting all paids ads. Sooner or later they'll revise their system to come into line with our views – so no need to bust a gut, just let their naive youthful inexperienced enthusiasm for doing the wrong thing wither on the vine !
