MLK’s Dream was only yesterday, but it’s still that day for Black Folks

cartoonpolitics: "This country was founded by slave owners who wanted to be free. Am I right? A group of slave owners who wanted to be free. So they killed a lot of white English people, in order to continue owning their black African people, so they could wipe out the rest of the red Indian people, and move west and steal the rest of the land from the brown Mexican people, giving them a place to take off and drop their nuclear weapons on the yellow Japanese people. You know what the motto of this country ought to be? You give us a color, we’ll wipe it out ! “ ~ George Carlin .. (more here)

Demanding justice out right, no coddlingDemanding justice out right, no coddling-- READ THE CARDBOARD SIGN THO
sure as fuck don't. woop there it is..

Demanding civil rights and just treatment for People of Color has always been about exposing the truth of racial disparities and demanding justice—  not about making sure white people’s feelings don’t hurt and white people don’t feel uncomfortable about the reality of racism.

You should feel uncomfortable about the actual racism enough to do something to fix it, not complain about how we say tell you about it!

After the I Have A Dream Anniversary rally held yesterday (08/24/13) in Washington, we all realized that nothing in America has changed except the level of discrimination and inequality in America.

It’s become more class based instead of just being color based. Everyone who knows what is really wrong would scream it from the top of the Washington Monument if we thought it would change the situation. We know now that it won’t.

It’s been thirty years since the I Have A Dream Speech and the March on Washington. What’s pushing the real differences in this country ? MONEY Plain and Simple.

The reality of what is happening to poor people is so clear that it boils down to WU Tang Logic “if it don’t make dollars it don’t make sense”. Too many of the taxpayers who struggle to just make it through are so poor that they don’t even have healthcare even though they have a job.

HOW CAN THIS BE HAPPENING IN 2013 ?

The states that decided to prevent their citizens from having healthcare are guilty of basic poverty level eugenics. In Florida for example – the only TB hospital in the entire state was closed. as soon as it was closed, an immediate rise in TB cases was noted by the Florida State Health Department. Yet there was no facility to handle the cases.

The citizens on Louisiana have seen a marked rise in health problems of various types since their governor Bobby Jindal decided to say f-u to his citizens without health care coverage. It is unconsciousable to believe that anyone would permit a child to go without health care because of political popularity and partisan politics.

Bobby Jindal Blames Racial Inequality On Minorities Being Too Proud Of Their Heritages

“One day after thousands rallied at the March on Washington 50th anniversary demonstration, Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA) pitched the Republican civil rights vision…by criticizing minorities for not assimilating into American culture.

In a Politico op-ed Sunday, Jindal lamented that minorities place “undue emphasis” on heritage, and urged Americans to resist “the politically correct trend of changing the melting pot into a salad bowl” comprised of proudly ethnic identities.” Read rest of story here

Bobby Jindal can go fuck himself

Alas Welcome to America 2013 where No Child is Supposed to Be Left Behind

Yet the congress votes to their corporate sponsors first and the citizens they were elected to represent – DEAD LAST Literally.

Take a look at this direct demonstration of White Privilege

so explain to us why these folks act so differently toward the White Thieves/actors than the Black Thief/Actor. Look at how they do the crime for the White Girl.

Blacks Asked to Leave Wild Wing Cafe because White Customer Felt Threatened
Ok my 2 pennies on that outrageous one. 1st what a hell of manager that refused 25 people just to not “disturbe”a single one!!!!…I mean business-wise, not even talking about race issues…

On that last note, do the right thing: make it public, sue the cie which refused to clearly address the pb. And now folks: don’t get mad for nothing, hit the cie where it hurts: the wallet and boycott this chain.
