Eddie Murphy Must Pay About $52,000 Monthly After a long and sometimes nasty legal battle.
comedian-actor Eddie Murphy must pay his ex, Spice Girl Melanie Brown $51,700 per month in child support for their daughter, Angel Iris, a judge has ruled.
Murphy, 47, must continue making the payments until Angel, now 22 months old, is 18,
By the time she reaches her age of maturity, she will have gotten $10.3 million from Murphy.
During their very public spat, which lasted a year and a half, the actor had denied the daughter was his until a blood test revealed otherwise. He now says that he would like to see Angel.
“Mel is delighted that the case is over as she just wanted what was right for the girl,” a friend of Brown said. “It was never about the money – it was Mel’s way of asking Eddie to show consideration for Angel.”
The 33-year-old Brown dated Murphy for about six months in 2006. She gave birth to Angel in April 2007. After the couple broke up, Mel married producer Stephen Belafonte. Mel also has a 9-year-old daughter; Murphy has five other children with his ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell.

T.D. Jakes’ Son Arrested for Lewd Behavior

The 29-year-old son of popular TV evangelist T.D. Jakes was arrested after allegedly whipping out his private in front of two undercover vice detectives in a Dallas park last month, CBS 11 News reports. According to a Dallas Police report, Jermaine Jakes was charged with indecent exposure on Jan. 3 after the incident at Keist Park.
The police affidavit says that Jakes walked up to one of the two detectives at the park with his pants unzipped. He then began to masturbate while making eye contact with the detective, according to the document.

Mike Tyson Wants to Publish Tell All
Tyson hopes to publish tell-all autobiography. Mike Tyson, one of the most discussed, criticized and talked about boxers in history, plans to tell his own story in a book. The former heavyweight champ fell from grace after what many considered a questionable rape conviction and a title fight in which he bit Evander Holyfield’s ear.
The New York-born brawler says he began penning the autobiography when he was serving time for the rape in Indiana. “Me and my cell mate would read to each other at night,” Tyson recalls. “One night I would read out loud to him, the next night he would read out loud to me. And we would do that back and forth until the book was completed.”
Tyson’s other headlines outside of the ring have included media coverage about a stormy relationship with ex-wife and actress Robin Givens.
