Chris Brown wanted for Felony Battery…against Rihanna?

Chris Brown and Rihanna went missing in action from the Grammy’s last night, prolly because RiRi has a black eye and Chris is running from the PoPo. Word on the block is that Chris Brown is being hemmed up by 5-O in “an alleged domestic violence felony battery incident” against some unidentified woman ( cough, cough, Rihanna)..
“The LAPD says that Brown was in a vehicle with an unidentified woman in Hancock Park, Los Angeles just after midnight last night when an argument started… the police say Brown and the woman got out of the car and the argument escalated. The incident resulted in an allegation of assault by the woman, who as yet has not been identified. She reportedly had visible injuries. Police say Brown was not at the scene when they got there.”
Damn who would of thought Pretty @ss Chris Brown could lay down his pimp hand? If this is true, Chris’ career as a pop star is done and he’ll have to become a rapper!

Chris Brown stopped the car, the two got out, and the argument escalated, according to police. A witness called 911 and Chris left the scene before LAPD arrived.
Brown turned himself into the Sheriffs Department at 6:30PM EST accompanied by his attorney Mark Geragos and Geragos’ investigator, Scott Ross. He is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
“He turned himself in around 7 p.m. to one of our stations and is being interviewed by detectives now,” Officer Karen Smith confirmed to People.
The pair drove into a parking lot behind the police station on Venice
Boulevard just east of La Brea Avenue in a black Cadillac Escalade. They entered through a back door where a posted sign read “authorized personnel only.” Police are expected to release a statement later this evening
Both Brown and Rihanna canceled their performances at tonight’s Grammy Awards.
UPDATE:
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Chris made bail and was released at 8:35PM. He is due in court on March 5.

Chris Brown is being investigated in an alleged domestic violence felony battery incident.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the singer, 19, was in a vehicle with an unidentified woman in L.A.’s Hancock Park neighborhood around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when they began arguing.
Police say Brown and the woman got out of the car and the argument escalated.
The woman, who had visible injuries, phoned 911 and alleged Brown attacked her.
When officers arrived they found the victim, but Brown had already left the scene, police say.
The LAPD is conducting an investigation into the incident.

Earlier Saturday night, Brown and girlfriend Rihanna were at Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy party in Beverly Hills.
When contacted by Usmagazine.com, Rihanna’s rep said, “Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support.”
Neither Rihanna nor Brown is attending tonight’s Grammy awards.

“We have just been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight’s 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards. We’re sorry she is unable to join us this evening,” the Recording Academy said in a statement Sunday.
In a separate statement, the Academy said: “We have just been informed that Chris Brown will not be attending tonight’s 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards. We’re sorry he is unable to join us this evening.”
