First, thanx for the words you gave on my blog, much appreciated.

Being in Canada, yes Canada, we are not as in touch as easy as you are on Guantanamo, but we try anyway. Guantanamo is a sore spot with me for exactly what you say. I have a hard time just thinking about what goes on there and the tactics used on those who are basically kidnapped without charges and trial.

Watching the videos I find hard to watch burns me up you know?

Here in Canada our government just stated they will accept information gained from torture if it is worthy information. I am proud to be Canadian, but this just isn't right no matter how you look at it.

I can understand the re commitment to Afghanistan. This isn't winnable as you say, but a little more work is needed. The innocent people over there still need more. I hate to say this as here we have caravans of our soldiers who have been killed in Afghanistan driving into Toronto where I am near almost daily.
