Freaks of Every Color, Fetish and Geography – Here Today
Sunday is a day we love to tell the truth, so get yo self a cool drank and get ready for some truth today up in here.. uhhh huh.
First we start with the science news – a Genetic Mutation defines Skin Color ? I thought we already knew this .. okay maybe we went to that other school, where they teach Math and Science, along with Genetics. ooops did I leave out that old’ time Biology and Geography.
to quote an old Negro Spiritual “It Was Good Enough For Me”
Scientists Find A DNA Change That Accounts For White Skin

Scientists said yesterday that they have discovered a tiny genetic mutation that largely explains the first appearance of white skin in humans tens of thousands of years ago, a finding that helps solve one of biology’s most enduring mysteries and illuminates one of humanity’s greatest sources of strife.
The work suggests that the skin-whitening mutation occurred by chance in a single individual after the first human exodus from Africa, when all people were brown-skinned. That person’s offspring apparently thrived as humans moved northward into what is now Europe, helping to give rise to the lightest of the world’s races.

Dishin’ Dirt on R. Kelly, NeNe Leakes, and Jill Scott …

R. Kelly done finally finalized his divorce. He and Andrea have been going through a divorce for the last 10 of their 11 years of marriage and now it is officially over. They finally reached an amicable resolution to all of their marital issues. The couple will share joint custody of their three children. Personally, I would have thought the marriage would have ended when the internet pictures surfaced of R with his face up the butt of some stripper, or when the video surfaced of R and the lil’ girl, OR when the pictures surfaced of R and some other lil’ girl (not the same one he peed on). I could go on but why? Nuff said…

Grenada cracks down on saggin’ pants.
Officials in Grenada are cracking down on people who wear sagging pants that show their underwear. The move by the Caribbean island nation follows similar bans in a few U.S. cities. The country’s police Commissioner James Clarkson believes the crack-down will bring “back morality into20the country,” reports Caribbean Net News. Some young men have forgotten where their waist is, he added.
As another result, women in the nation are doing the same thing; wearing their clothes very low. “Any time you allow lawlessness to start taking effect on your country, you have a problem,” he said. Clarkson, who was appointed in August, said he is looking to form a closer relationship with the press. He also announced that he wants to improve the working conditions for female officers.
Nine in Senegal convicted of homosexuality.
An HIV-prevention activist and eight others in Senegal have been sentenced to prison for allegedly engaging in homosexual acts. The group was arrested in a raid at the apartment of the activist Diadji Diouf, weeks after Senegal hosted an international AIDS conference. Senegal, which is mainly a Muslim country, is among 38 nations that have outlawed acts of homosexuality.
The men belonged to a group set up to fight HIV and Aids

The jailing in Senegal of nine gay men for eight years over “indecent conduct and unnatural acts” has been condemned by an international gay rights group.
Homosexual acts are illegal in Senegal but the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) told the BBC it was “shocked by the ruling”.
The judge added three years to a five-year sentence, saying the men were also members of a criminal group.
Most of them belonged to an association set up to fight HIV and Aids.
“This is the first time that the Senegalese legal system has handed down such a harsh sentence against gays,” said Issa Diop, one of the men’s four defence lawyers.

IGLHRC’s Cary Alan Johnson
|
Mr Diop said he would be appealing against the sentences.
The IGLHRC’s Cary Alan Johnson said he was “deeply disturbed” by the case.
“There have been pretty consistent human rights violations… in Senegal,” he told the BBC’s Network Africa programme from Cape Town in South Africa.
“But the extremity of this sentence [and] the rapidness of the trial all really shocks us in a country which has been moving so positively towards rule of law and a progressive human rights regime.”
‘Schizophrenic’
The head of a gay rights organisation in Senegal told AFP news agency that the situation for gay people in the country was getting worse.
“Many gays are already fleeing to neighbouring countries because of our living conditions,” he said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Senegal is a predominantly Muslim country and gay men and women remain socially marginalised.
Mr Alan Johnson said Senegal was “schizophrenic” in its attitudes.
Religious attacks on gay and lesbian people were on the increase, he said.
While Senegal recently played host to a major conference on Aids and sexually transmitted diseases, where “the needs of men who have sex with men were prominently featured”, he said.
“There’s both a movement towards progressive and inclusive culture but at the same time very, very strong movements towards oppression, specifically towards sexuality,” he added.
In February 2008, a magazine editor received death threats after publishing pictures claiming to depict a wedding ceremony between two men.
Several men were also arrested in connection with the publication but later released.

Jetblue settled with Mr Jarrar out of court
|
An air passenger forced to cover his T-shirt because it displayed Arabic script has been awarded a payout of $240,000 (£163,000), his lawyers say.
Two Transportation Security Authority officials and JetBlue Airways will be forced to make the payout.
Raed Jarrar, a US resident, had accused them of illegally discriminating against him based on his ethnicity and the Arabic writing on his T-shirt.
The payout is the largest of its kind since the 9/11 terror attacks.
Lawyers representing Mr Jarrar say the settlement is a victory for free speech and a blow to the practice of racial profiling.
Uncomfortable
Back in 2006, Mr Jarrar was waiting to board a flight at New York’s JFK airport wearing a T-shirt that read “We Will Not Be Silent” in English and Arabic.
His lawyers say he was ordered to remove the item of clothing by staff who said other passengers felt uncomfortable with the Arabic slogan.
He eventually agreed to cover the shirt and boarded the plane, but says he was made to sit at the back of the plane.
The Transport Security Authority and JetBlue airlines agreed to settle the case, paying out a total of $240,000 in compensation.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which represented Mr Jarrar, argues this case is not an isolated one.
Last week, a Muslim family was ordered off a domestic US flight operated by AirTran airlines after passengers claimed they were making suspicious remarks about security.
The family members were later cleared by the FBI, but were not permitted to fly with the airline to continue their journey.
and hopefully for the last time we can say – Shrub, You Lyin Idiot – Shut the fU3k Up
Africa: Hillary, Hamas, Mugabe And Foreign Policy Change

President George Bush is leaving office as a gallant soldier of Israel and confirming views of those who have increasingly argued that America’s foreign policy is leashed to the agenda of a powerful and very well organized Jewish and Israeli lobby inside American domestic and Congressional politics. Both Bush and his foreign secretary (Secretary of State) Condeliza Rice are ending their service with blood of Palestinians splashed all over their hands, faces and garments.
And Our All Powerful Political Word of Advice comes today from Bro. All-Mi-T, of RawDawg Buffalo Blog. this is not some lightweight assessment of the situation. this is the reality of what we have coming just up the turnpike my peeples. fyi, I lived IN the D when that Riot Happened 2 blocks up the street. uh huh, so I remember it; because I lived it. that’s why this rings so loudly.
Dig What T Has to Say Bout the Upcoming Mess :
1967 Again, maybe?
As a kid, I recall a little of the Detroit Riot of 1967. I was in the house and the flames on the front porch were a lot more visible at the time. It began after a police raid in a predominantly black neighborhood. And although race was significant as well as police brutality, economic, and social factors such as lack of affordable housing, added to the Riot, another one may be brewing in the D-town, if it don’t become a ghost town first. Today may be even worse with the collapse of the big car manufacturers, Ford, Chrysler and GM. Monday, and this Dec 23, 2008 report noting that the average price of a home is now $18,513 (less than a new car) and unemployment has reached 21 percent. Just in June the average home price was $19,448.
In October, 98 metropolitan areas reported jobless rates of at which was up 7.0 percent, up from 16 areas a year earlier, In October, Detroit-Livonia-Dearborn, Mich., Add to the mix a 21.7% graduation rate for the 11th largest district in the country, Detroit Schools – this may be where the economic crisis first blows up and gets an human face.
Nationally some project that the December’s job loss total will exceed November’s and predicts the economy will have lost 3 million to 4 million jobs for the two years ending at December 2009. True, I look at it as the glass is half full and with the understanding that there aint no consistent definition of a Depression. The only consistent thing is the presence of long scale and extended unemployment. Im just cautious and with the way things work now: online banking and ATMS. Long lines in hospital emergency rooms because of no insurance and food prices across the country increasing about 7 percent alone in 2008, one doesn’t have to be absorbed with economics to know things do not look too good or that the depression looming will look a lot different than the great depressin. For if it ever gets to where 6 out of 10 households are economically distressed, then something is liable to hit the fan – question is where? So tell me what it looks like in your city.
And Finally this Flesh Eating Genocidal Maniac is Suprised ? co’mon lets stand him in the middle of Monrovia’s capital square and let each of the people who lost a relative to him, just pass by him and strike him once. I guarantee you he would be dead within minutes, probably before he arrived; because the guards may have claims as well.
even more symbolic and biblical, lets do it his way – lets drop him in a hole in the ground, tell the guy in utah we have a treat for him. then feed him to the guy who ate his eye in Utah the other day. I think that would do just fine. lets see that would be “feeding a canibal to a canibal“. ooo thats recycling. see we’re already figuring ways to save money on penalism. he isn’t worth prison or another trial. disolve his bones in acid and burn the residue in a closed container. cheap and tidy. or so the mafia says..
Chuckie Taylor led a notorious anti-terror unit while his father ruled Liberia
|
“Chuckie” Taylor, the son of former Liberian President Charles Taylor, has been sentenced by a US court to 97 years in prison for torture.
It is the first time a US court applied a 1994 law allowing the prosecution of citizens who commit torture overseas.
Chuckie Taylor, 31, who headed a notorious paramilitary unit during his father’s rule, said he would appeal.
Charles Taylor is on trial at a court in The Hague – he denies 11 counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes.

Judge Altonaga
|
US District Judge Cecilia M Altonaga imposed the sentence on Chuckie Taylor – whose real name is Charles McArthur Emmanuel – at a hearing in a Miami court.
Shackled and dressed in a prison jumpsuit Taylor showed no emotion or reaction at the sentence, but told Judge Altonaga he would swiftly appeal.
He also said he rejected an offer from prosecutors to plead guilty in exchange for a lighter sentence.
“My innocence was important to me then, as it is now,” said Taylor.
“My sympathies go out to all the people who suffered in the conflicts in Liberia and Sierra Leone,” he added.
“It is hard to conceive of any more serious offences against the dignity and the lives of human beings,” Judge Altonaga said just before announcing the sentence. “The international community condemns torture,” she added.
Torturing group
The prosecution had urged that Chuckie Taylor be sentenced to 147 years in prison.
Defence lawyers though had argued for leniency, arguing that many of the witnesses at his trial in October 2008 lied in a bid to win political asylum in the US or to settle political vendettas.
Chuckie Taylor was born in the US but after his father won Liberia’s 1997 elections he moved to the country, and was made the head of the notorious Anti-Terrorist Unit (ATU) while in his early 20s.
Charles Taylor Snr faces war crimes charges in The Hague
|
This elite pro-government military division was widely feared in Liberia and the crimes were especially brutal when the unit was cracking down on a rebellion which began in 1999.
At his trial in Miami late last year, Chuckie Taylor was accused of committing or conspiring to commit executions, imprisoning a group of individuals in a hole in the ground, burning victims and administering electric shocks.
The jury made a direct link between some incidents of torture and the defendant.
Liberia is currently trying to recover from 14 years of conflict.
At nationwide hearings of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, victims are recounting the heinous crimes that tore the country apart.
Charles Taylor denies the charges he backed brutal rebels in neighbouring Sierra Leone.
He stepped down in 2003, as rebels advanced on the capital Monrovia.
